New Bio-based products

Ecolig®

Lignin is the most abundant macromolecule from a renewable source in nature and is present in the eucalyptus wood that we cultivate and plant. Lignin is a co-product extracted from black liquor, an intermediate stream in the Kraft pulping process. When properly formulated, this macromolecule adds value to a range of industrial applications and delivers significant benefits to our customers’ processes and products. Our brand of lignin, Ecolig®, has been developed for a range of applications. Ecolig® can be used in phenolic resins by replacing partially phenol, as an antioxidant for elastomers, and as a multifunctional additive for PP and PE.
